Prague
Prague is known for its many names and well-preserved history. It is known as ‘The Mother of Cities’, ‘City of a Hundred Spires’, and ‘The Golden City’ among its numerous names. It is the sixth most visited city in the whole of Europe, and it is also the capital and the largest city in Czech Republic. Most tourists like to visit Prague due to its history and preserved sights since this city was the least affected among the whole of Europe during the war. The historic center of Prague has been included in the list of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. One of the most visited sites in Prague is Prague Castle. This is the world’s oldest castle and has undergone major renovations that made it look the way it is today. The entire castle can be explored by travelers, provided they allot some of their time like half a day to actually understand the castle. If you rent a car in Prague you can also visit the surroundings of the city, and given the size of the Czech Republic, probably most of the country as well.
Prague is also among the cultural centers in Europe due to the city’s hosting of cultural events such as Music Festivals, Film Festivals, Prague Writer’s Festival, Prague Roma Festival and many more. Among the places that travelers can visit are the Prague lesser town, which is the least touched by modern times, and Prague’s Jewish Quarter.
